Guernsey - Isle of Wight

Description

This is a sailing trip across the English channel, also known as La-Manche.
We start near Saint-Malo in France, sail to Guernsey, cross the Channel, round the Isle of Wight, go to Cherbourg and return to Saint-Malo.
A special place of interest during this trip is the Solent strait where the RYA Yachtmasters exam takes place.

Though this trip is dedicated to sailing rather than sightseeing, we might find time to take a small excursion on the Isle of Wight. It is a small island south of Great Britain famous for its spectacular lookouts. Its landscapes are so various that it is also called England in Minature. A wonderful, picturesque coastline
ends on the west with a rocky cape called The Needles where a small lighthouse was build in 19th century. There is a chair lift available running down the chalk cliff (click).
